What legislation do you support regarding the cost and availability of healthcare? First, we must protect Medicaid Expansion to help make sure the over 700,000 Ohioans who need it continue to have access to healthcare. I also believe we need to stop legislators from restricting women’s access to healthcare. Americans are united in their belief that healthcare access is too restrictive and unaffordable. I would work across the aisle to find ways to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for all. |

What do you view as the most important issue in Ohio? The top challenge facing Ohio at this time are jobs. We must be innovative and create good-paying jobs in our communities that will strengthen the middle class. Too many Ohioans are working multiple jobs just to get by. We must make sure anyone who wants to work can find a job they can support a family on. |

How do you plan to address the opioid epidemic? Every day 14 Ohioans die from drug overdoses. As a state, we must be better prepared to handle this crisis by working more closely with our local communities that are on the front lines handling these tragedies. Support for increased mental health and substance abuse treatment is one way to help combat this issue but we must also look at the underlying reasons this health crisis has exploded in communities across Ohio. Ultimately, better schools for our children, access to affordable quality health care, a strong job market, and safer neighborhoods are all factors that can help reduce the number of opiate deaths in Ohio. |

What is your stance on gun ownership, including personal ownership, arming teachers in schools, and the sale of guns? I support common-sense gun safety legislation that most Americans support, including a Red Flag law, bans on bump stocks, increased background check requirements, and preventing individuals on the terrorist watch list from obtaining guns. |
